This raw organic chestnut honey is rich in minerals, especially in iron and vitamin C. Organic chestnut honeys are dark amber in liquid form and often golden-brown when crystallized. Dominant vegetable aroma of medium intensity and persistence. It is slightly sour and bitter and sometimes a little spicy. Our apiaries are located in protected high mountain areas.
