There is only one week a year that saffron can be hand harvested. The process is extremely labor intensive and a tradition carried on by the older women in the community. To keep the pleasant taste, fragrance, and color of the saffron, keep product thr in container, in a cool place, away from light and humidity. Dosage: From 6 to 8 threads per dish.
